I created a printed and digital fashion magazine called This/That. I decided to design a magazine that is clean and uncluttered. I wanted to create an enjoyable experience for the reader, as well as enhance the subject matter in the magazine with beautiful typography.

The following is a John Hughes film festival that I designed and illustrated. I realized that the common thread running throughout his films is that everyone goes through a journey and comes out of the journey with a better frame of mind. I created deliverables that reflected the subject of high school, including a backpack, pencils, and a trapper keeper inspired catalog book. I also created deliverables that were inspired by 1980s items like VHS tapes and cassette tapes.

I designed and illustrated a camping survival guidebook for city girls who have never gone camping before. This book includes beauty tips, cooking recipes, campsite setup instructions, and checklists at the end of each chapter. Each checklist includes a post-it with the same information so that the camper can bring it with her anywhere.

Gibson Greetings is a greeting card company that began in the late 1800s as a printing company. It became the third largest greeting card company in the United States, but Gibson lost business in the 1990s with the rise of online communication. Taking the Gibson Greetings core essence, which was to cherish and celebrate the personal connections people treasure most, I transformed the brand from a greeting card company to a personal connection company. Deliverables included a book series, cafe, and home store.

I designed and illustrated an astrology calendar. Each month displays a different constellation, along with a description on the top of the page. There are also details that show the different phases of the moon. I wanted this to be a functional calendar, so I designed space on the side with rules for notes and special dates.

This is a poster campaign project for Toms Shoes. Toms Shoes is a brand that wants to create a better world and help others. It is a brand with heart and generosity. It is a positive brand that wants to make the world a happier place. I took in all of these elements, combined with the simplicity of their product designs, and incorporated them into my posters. I wanted the posters to be simple and happy, like Toms Shoes.
